Trailing to Craig Feeney's fifty eighth minute opener and looking to be heading to a defeat Mangotsfield were awarded a penalty in added time after Karim Rendall appeared to be tripped.

Mangotsfield could have been out of sight of Gosport inside the opening ten minutes.
With just two minutes played Karim Rendall who proved to be a constant threat received the ball on the left flank and worked the ball inside to Mitchell Page whose strike from just inside the area was directed straight at Nathan Ashmore.
Minutes later Karim Rendall was involved again, this time Sean Seavill switching play to the inside left channel for Rendall who made ground into the penalty area only to be denied by Nathan Ashmore who despite losing his footing still managed to make the save, blocking the ball behind for a corne
Shortly afterwards Rendall was played in behind the Gosport Borough defence only to shoot into he side netting with just Ashmore to beat.
Gosport responded in kind creating four chances of their own in a seven minute spell.
On eleven minutes Justin Bennett got in on the right side of the Mangotsfield penalty area only for his goalbound shot to be blocked with the follow up effort going wide.
Within a minute Bennett was denied again after a cross to the near post was flicked on and met by the striker whose close range effort was turned behind by Chris Astley.
Bennett proved to be the danger again on fifteen minutes when latching onto a ball played into the left side of the area where faced with the advancing Chris Astley his attempted lob was parried and then cleared by the covering Alex Hoyle.
On eighteen minutes Noah Keats poor back pass ended up short allowing veteran frontman Steve Claridge to latch onto the loose ball and round Chris Astley only to see his tamely struck shot cleared off the line by Gary Colborne.
At the midway point of the half Mangotsfield had a goal disallowed after Mitchell Page climbed well to meet a free kick from the right and head goalwards towards the bottom left corner only for Alex Hoyle to finish from an offside position.
Page went close to an opening goal on twenty seven minutes after good work on the left saw Karim Rendall square the ball to Page whose scuffed shot beat the wrong footed Nathan Ashmore but was cleared from inside the six yard box.
With less than five minutes of the half remaining both teams went close to taking the lead at the end of an entertaining first period.
On forty minutes Justin Bennett curled a right footed effort just wide of the far post from the left edge of the area.
For Mangotsfield the combination fo Karim Rendall and Mitchell Page worked yet again as Rendall swicthed the ball inside for Page who showed good strength to shake off his marker to find space for a low shot which went just wide of the left hand upright.
After a lively first half of numerous chances the second was a quieter affair were clearcut chances fewer.
Eight minutes after the restart a fine passing move on the left opened up the Gosport rearguard, Tom Parrinello
feeding Karim Rendall whose strike was saved low down at the foot of the near post.
Minutes later another attack down the left flank saw Karim Rendall square the ball to Mitchell Page who after opening himself up guided a shot just wide of the bottom right corner.
Against the run of play Gosport took the lead on fifty eight minutes through Craig Feeney who capitalised on a defensive error to run clear down the left and place the ball low past Chris Astley.
With the exception of a half chance which fell to Lewis Parker
on sixty five minutes which was scuffed wide of the right hand upright from eighteen yards neither goalkeeper was tested until late on.
Leading by a single goal with just two minutes left Gosport had an opportunity to confirm the three points only for substitute Bradey Norton to misshit his initial effort and then see his second attempt saved by Chris Astley.
With three minutes of added time played Karim Rendall darted in behind the defence to latch onto a through ball only to have his ankle clipped by Ellis Martin leaving the referee no option but to award a penalty.
