Shortwood United Preview

Meadowbank clash!

An important game for both clubs as we travel to Shortwood on Saturday. It’s important that we take points off teams around us in the league table and I’ve seen a more aggressive approach from the players, this week, in training.

Individually, the players need to take more responsibility in their performances and I’m sure that on Saturday we will get a reaction.

They have seen certain things that ‘so called’ fans have written this week and as a group, we are determined to put things right and stick together.

We all need to improve on the way we do things at the moment, but also people need to put things into perspective. We are still trying to stem the bleeding within the club, and this will not change for a while, so supporters need to be with us and get behind the team, or not to bother. It’s as simple as that!

Ask yourself, are you doing all you can to help things at the club? Hopefully, we will see a good number of our supporters at Meadowbank because it’s only a short trip ‘up the road’.

Rest assured, myself and my management team are working all hours in order to turn fortunes around.
