We visit The Tannery

We travel to Street FC, Friday evening after a great night against Bristol Rovers on Wednesday evening. Dave Mehew commented “ I felt with a near enough new team we competed well. The back line which, with a new team we have to start with, was so much more solid ,together and quicker than last year. They held their hands up for the second goal instead of blaming others, and that’s good to see spirit- wise. There were still things to work on but much, much better all over, especially down the middle. The midfield was tried to play, and was unrecognisable from last year so with that in mind I thought they did well against full time players and triallists, trying to impress the watching Darrell Clarke.
Up front it was a vast improvement on Friday and that’s all I asked. We’re all getting to know each other we’ve got a couple of potential players to come in plus the four high profile players (Hogg, Harris, Peare and Davies). We’re down to the bare bones Friday with a few out from Wednesday but we do have Lewis Hogg back.
