In the preliminary round of the FA Cup Mangotsfield United have been handed a home tie against either Bitton or Bristol Manor Farm. The winners of this tie will travel to Chippenham Town.
The FA Trophy preliminary round sees Mangotsfield United drawn at home against Shortwood United, with the winners hosting either Cirencester Town or Guildford City.
Mangotsfield United's youth team will face a trip to Lydney Town in the FA Youth Cup preliminary round. Should the youth team progress an away tie against Brislington awaits. The second qualifying round draw has also been made, Mangotsfield United having been drawn away against either Radstock Town, Bitton or Bristol Manor Farm.

FA Youth Cup – Preliminary round w/c Monday 3rd September, 1st qualifying round w/c Monday 17th September, 2nd qualifying round w/c Monday 1st October, 3rd qualifying round w/c Monday 15th October, 1st round proper to be played by Saturday 3rd November, 2nd round proper to be played by Saturday 17th November.

FA Trophy - Preliminary £2,300, 1st qualifying £2,550, 2nd qualifying £3,250, 3rd qualifying tound £4,000, 1st round proper £5,000, 2nd round proper £6,000.
