Thompson will be assisted by Lee Barlass, his former number two at both Yate Town and Almondsbury Town and Lee Jefferies a former player under Thompson at Yate Town and more recently part of the coaching staff at Almondsbury Town.
Thompson told MUFC Online "The pair of them have not been given specific roles as such, but will assist me in all areas as and when required, I have no doubt the two of them will prove to be major assets to the club"
