Mangotsfield United's Under Eighteen Youth Team suffered a second successive reverse as bottom of the table Tiverton Town sprung a surprise at Cossham Street.
Looking to bounce back from defeat last time out Mangotsfield dominated the first half forcing a number of corners and creating a host of chances as it looked a question of not if, but when the home side would take the lead.
However, after failling to take advantage of their first half superiority Mangotsfield were punished as Tiverton upped their game in the second half and took the lead ten minutes after the restart.
After taking the lead both sides wasted opportunities to add to the scoreline and as the half progressed Mangotsfield tired noticeably as a three week lay off looked to have taken its toll.
The Youth Team are next in action this coming Sunday in the GYFAS fourth round when for the third time of asking they are due to meet Bristol Telephones, kick off 1.30pm.
