Mangotsfield United Supporters Club

MUSC (2009) is now in its fifth year after forming in the summer of 2009 during which time thousands of pounds has been raised for the football club and stronger links developed between supporters and the clubs board of directors.


Committee

Chairman - Andy Milne, Secretary - Gary Marks, Treasurer - James Packwood.

Objectives

To assist in the continued success and prosperity of Mangotsfield United Football Club Ltd (MUFC Ltd).

To protect the interests of the club members and represent their views to the directors of MUFC Ltd.

To encourage, promote and develop support for MUFC Ltd.

To support MUFC Ltd by the raising of funds.

To be democratic and open in the running and organisation of MUSC



Membership

Membership fees remain at £5.00 for adults, £3.00 for senior citizens (sixty years and under) and £2.00 for Juniors (sixteen years and under). A family ticket is also available for £10.00, this can be two adults and two juniors or one adult and three juniors.

Membership for the 2013/14 season runs from August 1st 2013 - July 31st 2014 and for this season entitles members to a 20% discount on club shop merchandise, reduced admission for official MUSC events, a reduction in the cost of travelling on MUSC coaches (if provided) and a Mangotsfield United enamel badge.

Supporters Club Initiatives

MUSC once again will be running the matchday 'Golden Goal' fundraiser as well as the '50 Club', 'Three Match Pool'and the 'MUSC Prediction League Competition'. (For details of winners of these fund raisers please see the MUSC Fund Raisers link).

Over the season various events will be held to raise funds for the football club.

At the first home match of each month MUSC will be awarding a player of the month award voted on by MUSC members.



Supporters Club News/Events/Awards

The AGM will take place at Cossham Street on Tuesday 2nd July starting at 7.45pm. One of the main items on the agenda for the evening (which non members are welcome to attend) is the appointment of a new Chairman after Andy Milne stepped down after four years hard work in the role.

It is hoped the AGM will be followed by a 'Fans Forum' attended by manager Richard Thompson and his backroom team of Lee Barlass and Lee Jefferies and also representatives of the clubs board of directors.



Next Meeting

The next meeting of the MUSC committee will take place at Cossham Street on July 15th at 7.30pm. Members are encouraged to raise any issues or ideas that they may like discussed with one of the committee members or by e mail to gary.mark67@hotmail.co.uk
